Happy Birthday Katie!

This card is for my Granddaughter Katie who will be 21 in a few days. She is having a birthday party tomorrow since it is the weekend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!

My eyes are better. I have an infection in both of them but they are so much better with antiobotics. I hope to be crafting again in a few days.

Have a great weekend.

Linda

CMC Challenge Card!

We were to use Turquoise, Red with Cream/White. It is a good thing I already had this image colored because my eye issues are back. I am wearing sunglasses in the house because my eyes are so sensitive to light. I am going to the eye Dr. tomorrow morning so hope he has some good meds that will fix them so I can see.

Come join us at the CMC Challenge Blog. You don't have to be taking a coloring class to join in the challenges and there are some great prizes being given away.

My 11 yr. old Granddaughter's cards!

I promised Raven that I would post her cards on my blog. She made them in 2 days and was so proud of the great job she did on them. The only thing I did was help her color the skin on the Tilda. She loves to make cards and does a great job on them especially for a ll yr. old. She stays with us during the day in the summer while her Dad is working.

I am in Mountain View, OK visiting my son Scott and my DIL Debra. We had a great day and a fun evening going out to eat and see the sites around here. It rained today and it was the first measurable rain since July 2010 a year ago. It cooled off to the 80's and was wonderful! I'll be home on Wednesday and have a card of my own to post.

Corrosive Challenge #126-All about Kids!

The Corrosive Challenge #126 is All About Kids. It's a fun challenge so come join us. I used a stamp I've had for awhile and finally inked it up. It's a cute one. I bought the stamp at Magnolia-licious, where I buy all my Magnolias. I bought the cute dock from Michelle's Scrapbooking & More. They have some really cute backgrounds for Magnolia Stamps.

We have had over 3 1/2 weeks of triple digit weather and it is causing everyone to go stir crazy. It is just too hot at 105-109 to get out. Hope your weather is better wherever you are.

Happy Birthday for Jade!

Hello!

I made this card for great granddaughter Jade. Her birthday is a few months away but wanted to make a card with this image for her birthday and the LOTV challenge to use pink and blue. It is the perfect image for her as she will be 1 yr. old.

I am going to Tulsa today to do some shopping at Michaels and Joann's and a scrapbook store. If you don't have to drive an hour to go to one of these stores you are very lucky. They are scattered across Tulsa so it will be a most of the day trip. It will be fun tho. My daughter and granddaughter are going with me so we will also go out to lunch while we are there.

Pink, Purple and Pearls Challenge!

This card was made for the Just Magnolia challenge blog. I love Magnolia's and love learning to color them. The pearls are the center of the flowers I used, the purple ones. I used mainly Wild Orchid Crafts flowers on the card and a new sentiment from SU. I punched it out with an older SU punch. The dp is also made by SU. I am still working on my coloring skills. I hope you like this one.

CMC Challenge card!

We are supposed to do our favorite copic technique over at the Color Me Creative Challenge blog. I am trying to learn to do pleats or ruffles. I am not mastering it but getting a little better and a little closer. I still haven't found the right tutorial. I only know to keep practicing which I will do.

I hope you are all having a great week. We are staying in as much as we can. We are still in triple digits.

Sketch Time at the Corrosive Challenge #24T

This is a Whimsey Doodle image that I used on my card. It is so cute and her name is Cotton Candy Leah. I loved this image and couldn't wait to make a card with her. Whimsie Doodle is one of our sponsor's this month so I hope you will check them out.

I hope you all have had a great weekend. We've been staying in out of the heat for several weeks now. It is starting to get old. I love being outside but not in this heat. It cooled down on Friday and we were only 99 with a good breeze. I am hoping it is cooler today.

Have a great day!

CMC Challenge card!

Our challenge at CMC challenges was coloring folds. I'm not too good at it and don't remember if I took a class for it or not. If I did I need to review, if not I need to watch the video. lol!!
It's a fun challenge and you do not have to belong to one of the copic classes to join us in the challenge.

Hope you had a fun holiday weekend. We sure did.

Card for the 4th of July!T

This is my card celebrating the 4th of July. I hope you all have a safe, fun holiday. We are spending time with family and enjoying being together. I appreciate all the things our soldiers do for us to keep us free. I know their families really miss them and I appreciate the sacrifices they make for us.

Have a great 4th.
