Springtime Tilda

I don't know about you but I am so ready for Spring. Our weather has been crazy, jumping from 80's one week to back in the 30's and 40's this week. Our weather guy said on Sat. we could be in the 70's again and 80 on Sunday. Our normal weather is in the low 60's for this time of year.

This Tilda is from the new Spring Maggies. I picked the colors from the Magnolia dp that I used. These are not colors I normally use but I like how it turned out. I hope you like them too.

Thanks so much for coming by.

Secret Sister Card

I have been receiving some awesome kits from my Secret Sister. Each time we do this I think "this lady is amazing." This is round #4 and I've had some wonderful SS each round. Thanks ladies for lots of fun and wonderful kits. This card was made entirely from the kit I received. I used a nestie and that is all that wasn't in the kit. One of my Great Grandkids will get this one. I really like how it turned out. I hope you do to.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I appreciate all comments even if they are giving me advice on doing a better job.

For Wish RAK Birthdays

I made this for whoever I get assigned to for April birthdays on Wish RAK. I usually get 4 names to send cards. It is a fun group and usually know the ladies pretty well so it is fun to make them cute cards to send out. I hope they like this LOTV image. I think they are such cute stamps.

Thanks for coming by my blog.

Home again!

I had a wonderful time on my trip to Eureka, CA and San Francisco but their is no place like home. It was fun traveling with my Grandaughter and seeing another Grandaughter Nicki, and grandson Chris and all the great grandkids but I am happy to be home. I will miss all of them tho, especially Denise and Gregg. I found this card on my desk and decided to post it as I have not had time to do anything. We didn't get home until 1:00 AM this morning. I slept until 10:00 AM. Thanks for taking time to stop by and leave comments.

Happy Birthday Jesse!

This card is for a girl that I have known all her life and she will be turning 14 on the 20th of March.
I saw Suzanne Dean is raising money for the people in Japan which I think is great. I was wondering how to donate to their cause and this is a good way to do it.
Thanks for stopping by. I am still in California having a blast. Will head home on Friday. This card was made during a few minute break I had before going to the Redwoods.

California Redwoods

We are having a blast at the ocean and hiking in the Redwoods. The photo is one DGD Lindsey and my great Grandaughters Lexie and Annabelle. It rained all day so we all got a good soaking. We all looked liked drowned rats but we had lots of fun. We took a picnic lunch and ate at Prairie Creek State Park. We also visited the Yurok Indian village at Patrick's Point. We are leaving on thursday morning to go to San Francisco so Lindsey can photograph the Golden Gate Bridge, shop at pier 39 and Fishermans wharf and China Town if we have time.

There is a group of ladies in a SS swap and we formed a challenge group and it happens once a month. This is my March card. The image was sent to us this month by Imke. This is such a cute image and I had fun putting this card together. I can't wait to see what everyone else has done with their images. It is a very talented group.

Madison's baby card

I am entering this card in the Color Me Creative Classroom Challenge. We have a challenge every two weeks. It is a great place to learn to use copic markers. I just watched a new video by Suzanne Dean on flicking your markers rather than using the older methods. I see a lot of practice in my future to learn to do this.

I am packing for my trip to California and getting excited about going. I leave early Thursday morning.

Posing Bunny

This is the second image in the High Hopes kit swap that I am in. Hope all my friends like this little posing bunny. I think she is too cute. The papers are different than the ones I included in my kit.

I had Jevin again today. Poor baby was still sick. He coughed so hard he threw up several times. I am sure hoping he is better tomorrow. His Mommy will be home with him and taking good care of him.

Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for coming by.

New Spring Magnolia

I made this card for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge. We were to use buttons and bling. I only used one button so hope it counts. I wish I had either masked this image or stamped the image on the same piece of CS but I didn't so will live with it the way it is.

I babysit two great grandchildren that were too sick to go to daycare today so had a full day chasing after a 3 yr. old and 9wk old. I had my hands full but loved taking care of them.

Thanks for checking out my card and leaving comments.

High Hopes Kit Swap

I am in a High Hopes kit swap and this is the image I am using for one of my kits. It is the same dp I am using in the kits except the checked is yellow in what I am mailing out. The ribbon will be different because I don't have enough of this one left, probably a yellow or turqoise or maybe white. I hope the ladies that get my kits like this one.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
