Card for CMC Bookendz!

I love this Crissy Armstrong image. This is for the Bookendz Group and the card is for the book we have been reading. The book is Einstein and Emily, by Linda Francis Lee and it is a fabulous book. Can't wait to see what our next book will be. Every book has been great so if you love to read you should check it out HERE. At the end of each month we have a party to discuss the book and Suzanne gives away prizes and they are great prizes that any crafter would love to have. You do not have to be taking Suzanne's Copic classes to join her challenges or bookclub.

Kids having fun with Snow!

Here is another card for Grandchildren. I really love the LOTV stamps and have so many of them that haven't seen ink yet. This time of year there is just not enough time in the day.

I haven't even got my Christmas tree up or any decorations out but am planning on doing that tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone.

Today's challenge at the Corrosive Challenge Blog is to case one of the DT members card. This is mine and it is not on the blog yet. I can't believe I forgot. Very sorry and can't believe I did that. I've been doing it quite awhile and think it is my responsibility to follow thru, but did plain forget. Anyway, I hope you join us this next two weeks. Can't wait to see what you do.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing all my friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm praying for safe travel for all of us that are Traveling even if it is just a few miles and thinking of all of you. Enjoy your family and have fun if you are a football fan.

This card is for one of the Great Grandson's. I love Hanglar and Stanglar images and think this one is so cute. Again, have a great Thanksgiving.

I

We've spent the evening out at Osage Hills State Park which is about 8 miles out of town. My Stepdaughter and her family always rent a cabin out there for Thanksgiving week. It is a beautiful place to stay and the cabins are so neat this time of year with the beautiful autumn colors on all the trees. It has lots of hiking trails and the Grandkids love it out there. They still come into town and spend time here with us and we go out there and spend the evenings drinking hot chocolate around a campfire and just visiting. Sometimes the weather is really nice and some years it is much colder. This year is supposed to be in the high 60's in the afternoons after tomorrow so that will be great hiking weather.

My card is a LOTV Christmas image. I love their stamps and this card is for another Grandchild and for LOTV's challenge to make a Christmas Card for someone special.

Another Christmas Maggie!

It is a good thing that I have lots of girls to make cards for. I'm not sure who will get this one. The image was left over from a kit from last year and added new papers with it. I also don't know why I didn't sit her on something like I usually do.

I've got a busy day tomorrow. Been cleaning for a few days since we have company coming on Sunday. Have a great Saturday everyone.

Outlawz Christmas Ornament

This is a new challenge at the Outlawz! Below I copied what Sandi wrote at the beginning of the challenge.
"Welcome to the new Creative Freebie Challenge! Anne and I are so excited to start a new challenge with the digis we have been drawing."

"We will give you four free digital images to start. You then have two weeks to enter at least one project in the challenge using the provided digis. Entering the challenge will enable you to receive the next set of images. Every two weeks we will send you four new images. To recieve the new images you will have to friend both Sandi and Anne."

I just thought some of you might be interested. The four free digi's were are very cute and fun to work with.

I'm finally through with my storage building until spring.

Silver, Blue and White!

This is my favorite Tilda of all the cuties in the Sweet Christmas Dreams collection. This is going to be a busy day. I have a storage building to clean out before it gets any colder. I don't really have to clean it out, just need to move things around so my Christmas tree and decorations are closer to the front instead of in the back. The silver backing is a lot prettier in real life and I am not a good photographer. I am hoping you all have a wonderful day.

Our Monthly Image Challenge!

I have both October and November cards today. I belong to a group on SCS where we each do the same image to see how different our styles are. All of the cards turn out fabulous and it is really fun to see what your friends do with the same image. Here is November's.

This is October's. If you would like to see what the rest of the ladies have made, you can see the other cards here. Each month is listed in either #2 or #3 post.

Corrosive Challenge # 137

Our challenge this week is Give Thanks. Join us at the Corrosive Challenge Blog for some fun challenges. My card is a thank you card for our Nephew and Niece who hosted us at the family reunion we recently attended. They were such sweet hosts so I made this and will include a short letter inside.

Our weather is beautiful today and tomorrow and then by Wednesday it is supposed to be down to 17 degrees and to me, that is very cold. Hope your weather is better next week than ours is predicted to be. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Another Christmas Tilda!

I have always loved the Christmas season. I have so much to be thankful for. I have a very loving family and lots of them. I keep myself occupied making them all cards for the seasons. I love doing it for them as there are so many I can't get gifts for all of them. I just get presents for the little ones and there are 17 of them with 2 on the way. The two new ones won't be here for Christmas this year though.

I'm crazy about Magnolia stamps and so that is why my blog has a Magnolia on it so often. I really like this one and hope you do too.

Another Great Grandson is having a birthday on Saturday. I hope it warms up because his birthday is at a city park which will give all the kids lots of room to run off all that excess energy they seem to have. This card is also for CMC challenge for a boy card. There are some fun challenges at CMC. You don't have to be taking Suzanne's classes to enter the challenges or belong to the chats. Come over and chat with us.

Pink Christmas!

This image came from Magnolia's Fall kit. I really like this image and knew when I saw it that I would sit her on the Santa hat that also came with the kit.

I can't believe we had 2 earthquakes here in Oklahoma. The first one happened at 2:00 AM on Saturday morning, woke me up. The second one at around 11:00PM right after the Oklahoma State Cowboys football game. The second one was really shaking our home, a few things fell off shelves etc. No one could believe it. It was felt in Joplin, Mo, in Ark. and they are saying it was felt in southern Illinois. It was a 5.6 earthquake. 2011 in Oklahoma we had the coldest temps ever, the hottest temps ever and the biggest earthquake ever..hope we don't have another year like this.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

New Baby for Nephew!

Our nephew and niece just adopted a presious little boy. They got him when he was 2 days old and it is the first child for them. This is the card I made for them and they really liked it. Of course it went with a gift.

Hope you have a wonderful day. I'm off to do some grocery shopping.
