My favorite is the Tilda holding the snow heart and do I have it, NO! I got the Fall kit and 5 other I ordered but forgot to order that one so will have to wait awhile to order. SS thanks so much for all the great goodies I recieved and giving me so many fun images to work with for all my Great grandkids. You are a wonderful SS.

We got home late yesterday from our Family reunion. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed visiting with everyone.

Wishing my Granddaughter Nickie a Happy Birthday.

For Steve!

This is my son's birthday card. His birthday isn't until Nov. 8 but wanted to make sure I had his card finished. The one below was my Grandson Travis's birthday card. His birthday is already passed, it was Oct. 1st.

I am in a motel in Durant, OK. We are getting ready to go meet the rest of our family for a family reunion. We are going to our Nephew's house to spend the day just visiting and sharing photos etc. Everyone is taking cameras and computers and copying everyone's photos so I need to get off of here and pack this computer.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Spiders & Pumpkins!

This is another Halloween card for one of my Granddaughters or Greats. I guess you can tell that I love Magnolias. I have a minimum of 36 Halloween cards to get made and some in the mail, but most I can hand out to the kids.

Hope you are having some beautiful fall weather. We are until Sunday and it is supposed to be 85 degrees and then on Tuesday a cold front is coming in and they say it could be as low as 35 on tuesday morning and then warm up to the 50's. I was hoping for lots of good fall weather, but looks like that is wishful thinking.

I'll have more Halloween cards to post by Friday.

I'm entering this in a few challenges.

ABC Christmas Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! I won a GD spot from Feline Playful's blog hop. The spot I won GD is for ABC Christmas Challenge Blog on their challenge blog today. The challenge is U for Unused Stash! The sponsor's this week are Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I recieved this cute image to use on my card. The name of this image is Cupcake Christmas lights. They have so many cute images to choose from. Another sponsor is Simon Says Stamp which is an awesome store. If you have never visited them you really should go check them out. Here is a little about the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog:Welcome to the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog,
Our Challenge is to help you prepare for the coming Christmas, It seems to be a common problem that Christmas creeps up on us every year! Challenges are fortnightly and are Themed, if you join every challenge from A to Z you will have create at least 25 cards in time for Christmas 2011.

Now the challenge was to use UNUSED items from our stash. I used this Basic Grey Nordic Holiday which was still unused, this ribbon was still unused and this package of sparkly snowflakes had never been used.

and finally: My card!

It was a lot of fun being a GD for ABC Christmas Challenge Blog! I had fun making the card and I learned a few things about each of the sponsors and their products. I certainly hope I did everything I was supposed to and got the UK time right. Thanks for the opportunity to do this, Feeline Playful.

Hello my friends. I hope you all had an awesome weekend. I had a good weekend, good weather and good visits with my Grandchildren and Great Granddaughter Madison(Maddie). Fall Birthday card for a Good Friend

This card is my first attempt at using flower soft. I see some places I need to touch up. I saw the flower soft used on the mum on a card at Suzanne Dean's blog and wanted to try it. Of course it doesn't look anything like hers did.

Hope you are all having a great day. I have a Dr. apt. so need to get off of here.

Happy Birthday Megan!

This card was made for my Granddaughter Megan. Her Birthday is Oct. 15. She is the Mother of Jacen and Jevin. I was trying to color with copics looking like distress inks. I watched Suzanne's videos and gave it a try. I see lots of mistakes but it was my first try. I will keep practicing. The important thing is Megan will like it. I distressed the edges of the paper with a distressing tool and sponged the edges of the paper.

I have a lot to do today, have to go to the grocery store. Need lots of fresh veggies. My DH went on insulin today so need to get some healthy foods in the house. I am hoping he will stick to his diet and I am going to go on his diet with him. I need to eat better too.

Have a great day everyone!

I am entering this in:

CMC Challenge: vintage or color to look like distressed inks
Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge: distressing

Corrosive Challenge #134-Purple Passion

I used this cute little bat from Doodle Pantry for my card. I thought he was really cute and I knew one of my little Grandsons would like to have him for a Halloween card. Wow! You all really liked the punches or dies from the last challenge. The last time I checked there was 306 entries. Way to go!!

I am going to clean the house a little today. My hubby comes home tomorrow after being in Houston for a week watching the Grandkids. Hoping you have a great Sunday.
