Happy Birthday Megan!
This card was made for my Granddaughter Megan. Her Birthday is Oct. 15. She is the Mother of Jacen and Jevin. I was trying to color with copics looking like distress inks. I watched Suzanne's videos and gave it a try. I see lots of mistakes but it was my first try. I will keep practicing. The important thing is Megan will like it. I distressed the edges of the paper with a distressing tool and sponged the edges of the paper.
I have a lot to do today, have to go to the grocery store. Need lots of fresh veggies. My DH went on insulin today so need to get some healthy foods in the house. I am hoping he will stick to his diet and I am going to go on his diet with him. I need to eat better too.
Have a great day everyone!
I am entering this in:
CMC Challenge: vintage or color to look like distressed inks
Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge: distressing

Linda..I think you did an awesome job on it. I love the soft pink with the chocolate browns and the lace. I just love vintage and I know Megan will love it too.

Linda, I think Tilda looks lovely! You did a great job for your first try. It is tough to keep areas light in this technique especially with Copics. I had that problem too. Keep up the great work.
