Halloween card for Nicki

I guess you know with 35 Grandchildren that I am making them all cards for Halloween and it keeps me busy getting them all done on time and in the mail. Thankfully I don't have to mail all of them.

My DH is home and doing great. I am so relieved and hopefully he and my Mom will stay well for awhile.

I am looking forward to going to visit my daughter on the Oregon Coast and just relaxing in the beautiful area. I plan on leaving on Oct. 1 if things are still OK with my DH and Mother.

For Riley

Halloween card for Riley, my Great Grandaughter. It is also made for the Color Me Creative Challenge blog for feathering. I did not do a great job of feathering but with my time mainly spent at the hospital, this will have to do. My DH is better and the surgeon tried some things and it unblocked him without surgery so I am hoping it remains working.

Here is another Halloween card that I made for another Grandaughter. I made it last week. I should get lots more coloring done because my husband Glenn is back in the hospital. He was in for 5 weeks last Sept & Oct. They think he may have a blockage and he only has small intestines because last year they removed his colon. We will know later today what is going to happen. They have a drainage tube draining out all the bile that will not pass. I will take my copics to the hospital and color while I'm there to help pass the time. I will let you all know what is going on and if I don't change this for awhile, you will know why.

For Kris & Sara

Our Grandson is getting married on Saturday at the Girl Scout Camp. They have a beautiful area for them to get married outside. It is in a rocky and hilly area with lots of Oak trees which have not started turning yet. It should be a beautiful wedding with a great couple. This is their card I made. I decorated the inside too.
Their colors were B&W with Silver and Turqoise accents. Hope they like their card.

Getting Ready for Halloween

I don't know why the photos are so sparkly. I have always used Cryogen cardstock and it has never picked up like this in the photos I've taken. Every card but one that I have posted has been on this CS. This will be for one of my many Grandaughters.

Update on my Mom!

She was released back to the Nursing facility but is so frail and weak that I am worried about her. She told one of my Grandaughters she was ready to go home and be with my Dad who passed away 5 yrs ago. My brother did go see her at the Nursing home and he said she had a big smile on her face so that was different. They are working with her to get her stronger so that is good news that she is smiling and acting better.

Mom

Most of my friends know my Mother is in the hospital. She is 87 yr old and has had a heart attack. She is so frail she can't have open heart surgery which she needs. We are just hoping she gets stonger and recovers but she is very sick. She does know all of us and talks to us, not always saying things clearly. She may have had a TIA too. Please keep her in your prayers if you are a praying person. Thanks so much.

Color Me Creative Challenge

Our challenge was to color blue jeans using of course shades of blue. This is my entry even tho I haven't posted it yet to their forum. I am rearranging and cleaning my craft room and have a mess, plus trying to comment on cards for the Troops.
