Happy Birthday Dani!!

My Granddaughter Danielle turned 25 on Dec. 22. It has to be hard having a birthday so close to Christmas. She loved her card. I was thrilled to make something besides a Christmas card. She loved the purple and green together.

I am entering this in a few challenges:

The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge; Anything Goes

  3. Your birthday card is beautiful Linda - you could spend your life just making cards for your family!!!! The colors are so pretty and I love the way you did your bow and that cute spoon and fork.

  6. Hi Linda,

How wonderful that you have a grand-daughter who is a Christmas Baby. My oldest son,(Brian), is also a Christmas Baby and he also turned 25 this year. He is the one who has been away in Portugal for the Holidays and his 25th Birthday and I've missed him a lot! But, I am thrilled that he is now engaged and I adore his girlfriend, Meghan. They both work long hard hours and really don't have much time off, so this was a much needed restful and fun trip and the perfect place to get engaged!

They will be flying back home tomorrow, but have hours of travel time. They leave at 10 am, but have a stop and by the time, they get home it will be close to 9PM tomorrow night and I'm sure they will be jet lagged too! I'll be dying so see them both, but, I know they both go right back to work on Thursday morning, so it will be sometime on the weekend!!

Having my wonderful new iPad made it extra special being able to 'talk' with them using Facetime and that made my day. I'm so lucky that my guys bought it for me, as this is a very expensive gift for us. They also still bought me other gifts and I also received money and gift cards to my favorite craft stores.

I was truly blessed this year and I am so happy and very thankful. It's exciting to know that you also have an iPad and I'll bet you love it. My kids are both very techy and pick up on all this so quickly. Brian has the original iPaid, and iMac, an iPhone and and even an Mac Book Pro. Meghan has the iPad 2, and all the same. Alex now wants to buy one with his Christmas money, so I'm sure, we'll have two here soon. Hubby is not a computer person and uses it a LITTLE as possible...only at work, as needed!

Well i'm babbling and getting tired, but I loved you kind words and was very happy for you too! :)

  7. I can see why she loved it cause it's so darn cute. For sure being born around Christmas makes it a little hard on family with gift giving but in a way, it's a blessing to have it all come at the same time then you can start storing up for next year....lol

Your blog is so festive and so cute. Did you do this yourself?

Well dear friend, I'm trying to catch up with everyone as it seems I've been gone forever. Will be back soon. Have a wonderful New Year! "Hugs"
