From a Dear Friend!

This darling image was sent to me from a dear friend.  I loved this image so much I had to color her right away so this card has been made for over a week but I am just now getting it posted.  I intend to order some of these darling Lulu stamps when I get back from California.  They are from Kraftin Kimmie.

We are going to be 83 today which is unheard of here in Oklahoma in March.  It was 80 yesterday.  I saw lots of people out working in their yards and that is where I will be for the rest of the afternoon.

Today at the Outlawz the challenge is to use some green for St. Patrick;s Day.   Mine is finally posted.  I got up kinda lazy today not wanting to get in a hurry to get things done.  I  love these calendar pages and at the end of the month I'll finally be caught up.  Come join us for some fabulous prizes.

I am babysitting Jevin this evening early so his Mom and Dad can take his big 4 yr. old brother and his friend tothe movies.   I am excited as I love taking care of Jevin.  He just started walking a couple of weeks ago so he will definitely wake me up and keep me on my toes for a couple of hours.

Happy Spring!

Hello everyone!  I got a new Great Grandson today.  He weighed 6lbs. 2 oz.  He is number 21 for the Greats.  His name is Jasper Ian Derick and I am told the first two names mean Treasure Holder of God's Grace.  I'm still not too sure if I like the name but wasn't my choice to make.  He is a little doll though.

Our crazy weather changed again.  We went from 76 to rain and the 40's.  How do we  ever get our bodies used to these drastic changes every week?  The high temps were not normal and we did need the rain but my RA doesn;t understand all this back and forth.

Thoughts of Spring!

We had some beautiful weather today.  It got up to 70 and we are supposed to be 76 tomorrow.  That is so unusual for March.  It was pretty windy today and that I can do without.  We have high fire warnings and can't burn or use our grills.

My card today is a Hanglar Stanglar image that is one of my favorites.  It made me think of Spring so wanted to use some yellow.   I hope to be back tomorrow evening with a card to enter some challenges. I have started it but not completed it so far.  I hope to have some mojo tomorrow.

Hope everyone is safe from all the horrid storms that went through this weekend.     I heard on the news that there were 101 tornadoes on the ground Friday.  They are part of our spring every year.  Most people have a safe place they can go but you don't always get a warning in time.
