Happy Birthday Drake!

This card was made for my Great Grandson Drake for his birthday party.  It was perfect for him because he had been fishing the weekend of his party.  The fish was cut with my cameo.

I am visiting my daughter and SIL and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren in McKinleyville, CA.
I had an exciting day today.  I met IRL Brenda Turner one of my Outlawz DT members.  It was so nice to meet her.  She was so sweet and very friendly.  We found out it is a really small world.  She knew my SIL and daughter's best friends and they both knew her Dad.  We are going to meet again before I head back home to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Indian Territory!

This card is for our SCS swap group and this is the June image.  It is a Magnolia image and so I thought I would share this one as it reminds me of Oklahoma since Oklahoma is known as Indian Territory.  I used my cameo for the flower and the pottery.  Hope everyone likes it or is okay with this image.

Failed One Layer!

I think I failed this challenge at the Outlawz Challenge Blog!  Today our challenge is a one layer card and I just can't seem to do it.  This is a Stamp Scapes image.  I really love their images and realize I should have stamped directly onto the cardstock but too much is happening here in Oklahoma for me to think straight.
It is so sad about all the tornadoes that happend Sat., Sun. & Monday.   I know the Moore tornado was the worst one but there were many others throughout the state.    They are all terrible no matter where they are.  I have the state of Oklahoma and its people in my prayers.  We had one about 12 miles from us on Monday also but no lives were lost, just property.  My Prayers go out to the families who lost children or friends or family in Moore and Shawnee and over the state.

Dress UP Day!

I have been gone for 3 days.  I went to one of my Grandson's high school graduation.  Alex is autistic so it was an amazing experience.  He loved seeing so many people there to see him and he did everything right.  We were all so proud of him and he received a standing ovation and a special award.  It was a very small town and only 15 graduates.  It was his fellow students that ask the principal to give Alex the special award.

It was a moving experience and we were all so proud of him.

Lazy Days of Summer!

I made this card for my Pastor who loves to play golf.  I think the image is an old Whipper Snapper image but not sure.  I received it about 8 years ago in an exchange and never used it because there's no golfers in my family.  I hope he likes it.

Spring Flowers!

It has been beautiful the last three days even with the rain we've had.  I love Spring flowers and this is one of my very favorites.  Mine bloomed in Feb. thinking it was Spring and then we had a second Winter so really missed seeing my flower beds bloomed and full of Daffodils.  It is Friday so that means it is time for another Copic/Any Alcohol Ink Marker Challenge at the Outlawz!  Our challenge this week is May Flowers so it is an easy and fun challenge.  Hope you come join us this week.  We would love to see your creations.

This is a birthday card I made for one of my friends at Church.  She is such a sweet lady and wanted to make her a card with lots of flowers.   I colored my image with  Copic Markers and used a piece  of paper by the Paper Studio.  I used Real Red CS and White CS.  Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some dies finished it.

Cowboy Up!

It's Saturday and I just had to play.  I've been wanting to color this for awhile.  It was drawn by artist Dawn Collins and you can find it in the store Can You Digi It!  All the men in our family love western, fishing or hunting cards.   It is colored with Copic Markers and Chocolate Chip and Kraft CS was used.

For Shelby!

This is a book I made for Shelby's baby shower.  Shelby is my Granddaughter.  She is going to have a baby in June.  I made a place for guests to sign in, to list the gifts and some extra pages for photos.  I hope she liked it.
