Shower card for Jessica

This is a card that I made for a baby boy shower I went to on Sunday afternoon.
I love these babies that are Mo Manning digital images. Five of them come in one group.


I got to go see baby Jade tonight. No one but Momma and Dad get to hold her right now as she is still hooked up to a stomach pump for draining bile. She is breathing on her own and no oxygen either. She is doing great.

This card was made with one of the Magnolia kits I received in a swap. I love the kit swaps because I don't like to make 6 cards just alike. I like my cards to all be at least a little different.

Baby Jade in the NIC unit

Baby Jade

Jade Alizabeth Smith was born on Aug. 27, 2010. Right after her birth by C section, she was taken to the NIC unit for a few hours to stabalize before surgery. About noon they took her to surgery and it was a very successful surgery. Everything went well and she is doing great. She is a beautiful little girl that everyone is falling in love with. She has black hair and a beautiful complexion. I can't wait to hold her. I am also anxious for her to get all the tubes and wires off. We can't get very good photos right now as she can't have any flashes or anything to make her move fast or jump. Only immediate family can go see her and I was so thrilled to get to go see her.

Birthday Card

I have such a large family that I keep making cards that sometimes I don't know who it will be for until I realize it is their birthday. With 2 daughters,1 DIL, 1 Step daughter,9 Grandaughters and 3 great grandaughters and one due today I always need a birthday card made with Magnolias. I am not even counting nieces and nephews, grandsons & great grandson. The girls all love the Maggies and I love coloring and making cards out of them.

Peach Parfait Magician

This is just another card for a Grandchild or Great Grandchild. When you have as many as I do you have to stay ahead so you will always have the right card. I need to get off the Magnolia kick and do some cards for the Grandsons. Their are several with Birthdays coming up starting in Oct. and a SIL in September. I paper pieced this and covered it in vellum and cased the idea from Lena.

For Riley

This will be my Great Grandaughter Riley's Christmas card. Her GGpa calls her is little angel. I have to admit she is a sweetie but not always an angel. I hope she likes it. Her birthday was today and she is getting a pirate card for her birthday card. This card looks better now as I added some gold ink around the sentiment to separate it from the doiley.
