CMC Inspiration Challenge!

Suzanne and the DT want us to do a project with this as the inspiration.

OR THIS:

I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used a Magnolia image, dies, embossing folder glitter paper and made a stick pin out of some beads I had on hand. I am hoping to use it for a winter birthday for someone in the family.

Hope you all have some fun weekend plans. I'm going to a birthday party for a great grandson and having company for Sunday and Monday. My Son and DIL are coming and I am excited to see them.

Penny Black Valentine!

Penny Black has always been one of my favorite stamp companies. I have made several valentines with this fun image.

Things are quiet here today. We didn't get the rain we needed so desperately but am hoping some shows up today before the chance of rain goes away. I would even be happy with thunder storms. It is to dry with no snow or rain this winter so far.

I've had a busy weekend. I've babysit two Great Grandsons today. They are 4 and 1 yr olds so they kept me hopping. The one year old just learned to walk so he was really trying me and looking over his shoulder and grinning great big. What fun and it definitely keeps you young.

Valentine for Nicki!

This card will be for one of my Granddaughters, Nicki. She is on bedrest at 29 weeks pregnant and her placenta is separating so she can only get up for the bathroom only. She is doing pretty good and they are wanting her to be able to deliver there in Eureka instead of having to fly her to San Francisco to a NIC unit if the baby comes to early. I have her in my prayers all the time. She loves my cards so this one will be her Valentine.

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Here is a birthday card for one of my Great Granddaughters Annabelle. She will be 14 in March so this is ready to put in the mail when it gets closer to her birthday. With so many Greats and Grands living from California,Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas it keeps me busy keeping cards ready to mail. I hope she likes this. She loves Magnolia images.

We have snow on the ground barely covered but there and already melting. It is supposed to be gone by tomorrow and back to the unusual Jan. weather of 50 degrees. It is never that warm here in January,

Corrosive Challenge # 140

Our challenge for this fortnight is one to celebrate the new year, and an excuse to use all those new crafty goodies you received for the holidays! Challenge #1
40 is "Ring in the New Year" and we want to see something brand new on your creation. It could be an image, a die, an embellishment or all of the above. As long it is new and never before used, it counts for this challenge. Please tell us in your post what those new items are so we can be jealous of the fabulous loot you scored! lol

Welcome to our new DT members. I am going to enjoy working with all of you.

Our sponsor this month is Kenny K and they are offering 5 images to the winner.

My card uses lots of new things. My image is new even though I have had it for months, first time seeing ink, my heart die is new from Cheery Lynn, a new paper pack from Bo Bunny and a new pack of pearls. Come join us this for some fun at the Corrosive Challenge Blog.
